Drop your HSBC statement PDF and download a clean .csv file in under 30 seconds. Runs entirely in your browser — your statement never leaves your device.
Xero expects exactly Date / Amount / Payee / Description in that order, with DD/MM/YYYY dates for UK/AU/NZ tenants or MM/DD/YYYY for US tenants. Our Xero export auto-detects your region and pre-formats the file so Xero's bank-statement import accepts it on the first try.
HSBC's own download options (PDF, CSV (90 days), QIF, OFX) cover the basics but don't always include Xero CSV. HSBC UK caps its built-in CSV at the last 90 days, so anyone reconciling a full tax year ends up downloading monthly PDFs. The PDFs are text-based and the converter preserves transaction date, type code (DD, BP, FPO, etc.), description, paid out, paid in, and running balance.
