Why we built these tools

Bank statements are a pain to work with. PDFs look nice but are terrible for analysis. Spreadsheets are powerful but require manual cleanup. These tools bridge the gap — turning locked PDFs into usable data, and messy CSVs into clean datasets, all without ever uploading your files.

Common workflows

1. Convert → Clean → Analyze
Drop a PDF into the converter, download CSV, then run it through the CSV Cleaner to normalize dates and amounts. Finally, open in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis.
2. Multi-month reporting
Drop 12 monthly statements into the Merger. Get one chronological CSV sorted by date with duplicates removed. Perfect for year-end accounting.
3. Quick spending review
Upload a single statement to the AI Categorizer. See exactly how much you spent on groceries, dining, subscriptions, and transport in seconds.
4. Format switching
Have a CSV but need Excel for a client? Or JSON for an API? The CSV Converter handles both in one drop.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool works immediately without registration, email, or login.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no hard server limit because nothing is uploaded. Very large PDFs (100MB+) may take longer to parse depending on your device's performance.
Are these tools really free?
Yes. The browser-based tools are free forever. The AI Categorizer uses a server-side AI model and is also free to use, subject to fair-use limits.
Can I use these for business?
Yes. You may use the output for personal, business, or accounting purposes. See our Disclaimer for limitations on accuracy.
My bank isn't listed. Will it work?
Probably yes. The PDF parser is layout-agnostic and reads the text stream directly. If your statement has selectable text, it will likely parse correctly.
