This Privacy Policy explains what information convertbank.online ("we", "us") collects when you visit the site, how that information is used, and the choices you have. We've tried to write this in plain English.

1. The files you convert

The PDF you drop into the converter is parsed inside your browser using WebAssembly. The file never crosses our network. We do not see it, store it, log it, or transmit it. You can confirm this by opening your browser's Network tab during a conversion — you will see no outbound requests carrying file data.

2. Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically collect:

• IP address (truncated for analytics)
• Approximate location (country / region)
• Browser type, operating system, and device category
• Pages visited, referring URL, and time on page

This is standard web-server and aggregate analytics data. It is not linked to your identity.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and localStorage entries:

• Essential — remember UI preferences (e.g. theme).
• Analytics — anonymous, aggregated traffic measurement.
• Advertising — set by third-party ad networks (see below).

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We display advertising served by Google AdSense and may use other ad partners in the future. These services use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

Ad providers do not receive the contents of any PDF, CSV, Excel, or JSON file you process — those never leave your device.

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited technical data with our hosting, analytics, and advertising providers as described above. We may disclose information when required by law.

7. Data retention

Aggregate analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. We do not retain any file content because we never receive it.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
