Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

By using convertbank.online ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We've kept this plain-English on purpose.

1. What we provide

convertbank.online is a free, browser-based tool that converts PDF bank statements into CSV, Excel, and JSON files. All processing happens locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded to our servers.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, including personal finance, accounting, bookkeeping, and business operations. You may not:

  • Use the Service to process documents you are not legally entitled to access
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service
  • Scrape or republish the Service's output as your own paid product
  • Use the Service in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations

3. Accuracy disclaimer

We work hard to extract every transaction correctly, but bank PDF layouts vary and change. Always review the converted output before relying on it for tax, accounting, or financial decisions. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any specific purpose.

4. No financial advice

convertbank.online is a file-format conversion tool. Nothing on this site — including blog posts, examples, or output — constitutes financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Consult a qualified professional for your specific situation.

5. Intellectual property

The Service's code, design, branding, and content are owned by convertbank.online. You own the files you upload and the output they produce — we claim no rights to your data.

6. Third-party services

We use anonymous analytics and may display advertising from third parties (including Google AdSense). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies — see our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, convertbank.online and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is free; your remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
