Why merge bank statements?

Multi-account view
See all your checking, savings, and credit card transactions in one timeline. Great for household budgeting.
Year-end reporting
Accountants often need a full year of transactions. Drop 12 monthly PDFs and get one chronological CSV.
Reconciling transfers
When you transfer between your own accounts, the same transaction appears in two statements. Deduplication removes the double-count.

How merging works

Step 1
Drop files
Upload any mix of PDF and CSV bank statements.
Step 2
Parse each file
We extract transactions from every file using the same parser as our PDF converter.
Step 3
Sort & dedupe
All transactions are sorted by date. Exact duplicates across files are removed automatically.
Step 4
Export
Download as CSV, Excel, or JSON — ready for import into any tool.

Privacy-first by design

All parsing and merging happens inside your browser. Your statements never leave your device. No upload, no cloud processing, no data retention.

Frequently asked questions

How does deduplication work?
We compare the date (normalized), description, and amount of every transaction. If all three match exactly across two files, one copy is removed.
Can I merge more files later?
Yes — just drop additional files and they will be merged with what you already uploaded. Or click Clear all to start fresh.
What if my statements overlap?
Overlapping date ranges are fine. Deduplication handles the overlap, and sorting puts everything in chronological order.
Does the order matter?
No. Files are processed in whatever order you drop them. The final output is always sorted by transaction date.
