Xero expects exactly Date / Amount / Payee / Description in that order, with DD/MM/YYYY dates for UK/AU/NZ tenants or MM/DD/YYYY for US tenants. Our Xero export auto-detects your region and pre-formats the file so Xero's bank-statement import accepts it on the first try.
Chase's own download options (PDF, CSV (90 days only), OFX, QFX) cover the basics but don't always include Xero CSV. Chase's built-in CSV export is capped at roughly 90 days, so anyone reconciling a full tax year ends up downloading PDFs. The PDFs are text-based (not scanned), which means our parser pulls every transaction row including memos and running balance.
